Funeral services for Mary Fuquay, age 89 of California, formerly of Mount Vernon, will be at 10 a.m. Monday, April 11, 2011 at the Macon Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Macon Cemetery.

Funeral services for Truman M. Barton, age 95, formerly of the Hagansport Community, were recently conducted at the Mount Olivet Cemetery in Fort Worth.

Funeral services for Milton R. Kelley, age 79 of Mount Vernon, were at 2 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2011 at the First United Methodist Church. A private burial ceremony was conducted at the Mount Vernon City Cemetery. Rev.Pete Adrian and Rev. Clint Davis officiated the services.

Frances Lou Langston, 87, passed away Friday, March 18, after suffering a serious stroke in February.
