Elton Cates died Saturday, Feb. 26 at Windzor Place Nursing Home in Daingerfield after a lengthy illness.
Cremation arrangements were handled by Harvey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon. A private memorial ceremony will be conducted for  the family at a later date.

Funeral services for Larry Dale Ayers, age 59 of Pittsburg, were at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro. Burial was in the Good Hope Cemetery.

Funeral services for Pat Sustaire, age 76 of the Greenwood Community, were at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18, 2011 at the Greenwood Baptist Church with Rev. Dwayne Goodson and Rev. Mike Freeman officiating.

Funeral services for Joseph Robert “Joe” Moore, age 72 of Scroggins, were at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 21, 2011 at the Welcome Home Baptist Church in Winnsboro. Burial was in the Cypress Cemetery with Rev. Jim Barksdale and Rev. Kenneth Goodson officiating.

Graveside services for Johnson Bryant, age 52 of Mount Vernon, were at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 21, 2011 at the Glade Springs Cemetery with Rev. Tom Campbell officiating.

Graveside services for Bob Lancaster, age 72 of Mount Vernon, were at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011 at the Mount Vernon City Cemetery with Rev. Shiles Hubbell officiating.
