Funeral services for 29-day-old Falynn Sloan Fort of Magnolia, Ark. were Friday, Dec. 13, 2013 at 2 p.m. in the Lewis Funeral Home Chapel at Magnolia, Ark. Officiating was Rev. Mark Lasater, pastor at Greer’s Chapel United Methodist Church in Magnolia, Ark.
Burial followed at Greer’s Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jake Jaggers, Kendall Fort, Travis Wilson, and Chad Dixon.
Falynn died on Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013 at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock, Ark. She was born on Nov. 13, 2013 in Little Rock, Ark. the daughter of William Matthew Fort and Lindsy Ann Jaggers. Her mother is formerly of Mount Vernon.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Bailey Elizabeth Fort; grandparents, Joe Don Jaggers, William Michael Fort; and great-grandparents, Marilyn Smith, Jessie Groves, and Jerry and Candy Allen.
Falynn is survived by her parents; a brother, Brayden Fort; a sister, Jordan Duran; and maternal grandparents, Nina Allen and husband, Steve, of Magnolia, Ark. and Terrie Steadman and husband, Greg of Hot Springs, Ark.
She is also survived by great-grandparents, Don Kenneth “Butch” and Marjorie Jaggers and Sallie Bridges of Mount Vernon, Tex., Malcolm and Laura Bridges of Willisville, Ark., Annie Groves of Magnolia, Ark., and John Lee and Anita Smith of Mount Holly, Ark..
