Funeral services for Marla Kaye Cornett, age 41 of Sidney, Ohio, formerly of Mount Vernon, were Wednesday, April 30 at 10 a.m. at the Adams Funeral Home in Sidney with Paster Brent Driver officiating.
Burial followed at Glen Cemetery in Port Jefferson, Ohio.
She was born July 29, 1972 in Dermott, Ark. to Terry Lee Helman and Sarah Ruth Melcher Helman. She graduated from Sidney High School in 1991 and worked for C.R.S.I. in the home health care industry. She had worked as a secretery at the Moose Lodge at Indian Lake, Ohio and was an avid follower of the Dallas Cowboys.
She died Saturday, April 26 at her residence.
She is survived by her husband, Anthony Scott Cornett, her parents, her children, David Nagel, Jr. and Dustin Nagel, all of Sidney; a stepson, Anthony Jordan Cornett; her mother and father-in-law, Charles and Dorothy Cornett of Kings Mountain, Ky.; a brother and wife, Michael and Lynn Overstreet of Mount Vernon; two sisters, Suzanne Brown of Little Valley, N.Y., and Paula Facklam and husband, Jared, of Corpus Christi; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Church of the Brethren in Sidney or Wilson Memorial Hospice.
