Funeral services for Ruby Lee Hines, age 84 of Talco, were at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 2, 2010 at the Talco Bethel Church of God in Christ. Burial was in the Piney Cemetery with Supt. J. E. Smith and Edler Troy M. Brown officiating.
Mrs. Hines was born Aug. 7, 1925 in Talco to Babe Brown and Donnie Savage Dabbs. She was a member of the Talco Bethel Church of God in Christ. She died Wednesday, July 28 in Mount Pleasant. She was preceded in death by her parents, her step-father, O. B. Dabbs, a daughter, Donnie Sanders, a great-grandson, four brothers, Troy D. Brown, O. V. Brown, A. D. Dabbs, Sr., and O. B. Dabbs, Jr., and two sisters, Oneita Brown and Ola Marie Lamb. She is survived by her husband, Autry Hines of Talco; a son, Autry Lee Hines of Talco; two daughters, Jessie Mae Hines and Emma Hines, both of Talco; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Lodessia and Apostle L. K. McGill of Mount Pleasant and Sarita and Terry Warren of Lawton, Okla.; five brothers and two sisters-in-law, Jeff Brown of Mount Pleasant, La Sunya Brown of Lewisville, Theodice Brown and Vernon Brown, both of Dallas, and Morris and Jenetta Brown of Amarillo; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Pallbearers were Charles Hines, Kyle Hines, Henry Norman, Jr., Eddie G. Norman, J. T. Morgan, and Sammie Ellis. Honorary pallbearers were Autry Lee Hines, Tony Sanders, Kevondrick Savage, and Tvdarius Brooks.
