A private family memorial service for Thomas Eugene “Cowboy” Crumbley, age 54 of Mount Pleasant, was at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2010 at Bates-Cooper-Sloan Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant.
Mr. Crumbley was born Sept. 6, 1956 in  Commerce to Thomas J. Crumbley and Leta Crumbley. He died Friday, Sept. 10. He was preceded in death by his father, a sister, Debra Dianne Crumbley, a sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Richard Fulce, a brother-in-law, Billy Walker, and a nephew, Jeffery Walker. He is survived by his mother, Leta Crumbley of Mount Pleasant; a son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Nora Crumbley of Mount Pleasant; a daughter and son-in-law, Nicole Crumbley and Dwayne Brown of Mount Pleasant; five grandchildren, a stepdaughter and her husband, Tracy and Tony Turner of Mount Vernon; a stepson, Mark Chapman; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna and Scott McEntire, Carol Walker of Mount Vernon, and Patsy and Frank Kirby; and numerous nieces and nephews.
