Funeral services for Mary Ruth Womack, age 87 of Satlillo, were at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010 at Harvey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in the Weaver Cemetery with Tom Friday officiating.
Mrs. Womack was born Dec. 13, 1922 in Sulphur Springs to Morris Forgy and Jimmie Horton Forgy.
She died Tuesday, Nov. 2 in Mount Vernon. She was preceded in death by a son, Joe Stanley Womack, two brothers, and a sister.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Yvonna Womack of Saltillo and nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Daniel Womack, Dustin Womack, Landon Womack, Ronnie Parris, Danny Tully, and Joe Womack, Jr.
