Services for Lougay Edge Brown, age 55, were at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 8, 2010 at Lone Star Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Hampton officiating.
Burial was at the Woodlawn Memorial Park in Hughes Springs.
Mrs. Brown was born in Marshall, Tex., on April 29, 1955 to Louie and Virginia Edge of Lone Star. She graduated from Daingerfield High School in 1973 and loved music ministry. She was a founder and member of Golden Hope Ministries.
Mrs. Brown died Thursday, Nov. 4 in Longview. She was preceded in death by her parents and older brother, Troy Boger.
She is survived by her husband, Rev. Henry Brown of Overton; a son, Andrew Gee of Overton; a daughter, Angie Vestal of Naples; a step-son, Jason Brown of Lindale; a step-daughter, Jennifer Anweiler of Houston; two sisters, Roselynn Edge Dupras of Whitehouse and Becky Kesterson of Mount Vernon; two brothers, Wesley Edge of Longview and Tommy Boger of Diana; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
