Graveside services for William Rothfuss, age 88 of Overton, were at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 17, 2011 at the Mount Vernon City Cemetery with Rev. Pepper Puryear officiating.
Mr. Rothfuss was born Aug. 14, 1922 in East Newark, N. J. to Willaim Rothfuss and Anna Lay Rothfuss. He was married to Vereta Jumper Rothfuss.
He died Saturday, Jan. 15 in Overton. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a son, Billy Rothfuss, and a great-granddaughter, Treanna Green.
He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Grace and Earl Green of Overton; two grandchildren and their spouses, six great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
