Funeral services for Rena Miller, age 83 of Bossier City, La., formerly of Mount Vernon, were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011 at Harvey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in the Mount Vernon City Cemetery with Rev. Mike Thompson officiating.
Mrs. Miller was born April 14, 1927 in Carthage to Jessie Rich and Maud Fawcett Rich. She was married to Truman Miller.
She died Saturday, Jan. 15 in Shreveport, La. She was preceded in death by her husband.
She is survived by two sons, John Steven Raska of Bossier City, La., and Jimmy Jack Raska of Whitehouse; three grandchildren and their spouses, Stephanie Ann and Clay Jones of Bossier City, SSG Eric and Tracy Raska of Palmer, Alaska, and Megan and Jase Bray of Carthage; three great-granddaughters, Siera, Alaina, and Alyssa; a great-grandson, Jace Jones; a daughter-in-law and her spouse, Marsha and Stephan Ballard of Troup; a niece and her husband, Judy and Rev. Mike Thompson of Mount Pleasant; a cousin, Virginia Franks of Shreveport, La.; a step-son and his wife, Billy and Mary Ann Miller of California; two step-grandsons, Todd and Scott Miller; and two step-great-grandchildren, Ashley and William Miller.

Fuller , Zack Adams, and Bobby Elbert.
