Funeral services for Betty Ann Boyd, age 78 of Winnsboro, were at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, 2011 at Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro. Burial was in the Liberty Cemetery with Bro. Jack Boyd officiating.
Mrs. Boyd was born July 5, 1932 in Cooper to John P. and Pearl Emma Dean Boyd. She was a member of the Cypress Baptist Church.
She died Tuesday, Jan. 18 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters, and two brothers.
She is survived by her brother and a sister-in-law, Jack and Imogene Boyd of Winnsboro; a sister, Judith Skidmore of Scroggins; and numerous nieces and nephews.
