Graveside services for Donald Thompson, age 76 of Hagansport, were at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011 at the Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Pepper Puryear officiating.
Mr. Thompson was born Feb. 11, 1934 in Lamesa, Tex., to George Lee Thompson and Winnie Gillit. He was married to Mavis McReynolds Thompson.
He died Thursday, Feb. 10 in Commerce. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan and a son, David.
He is survived by his wife, Mavis Thompson of Hagansport; two children, Carol Anderson of Poetry and Gary Thompson of Commerce; a sister, Kay Mears of Lamesa; seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
