Services for Fanell Weatherford Harding, age 88 of Dallas, formerly of Mount Vernon, were at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2011 at the Restland Abbey Chapel.
Mrs. Harding was born May 24, 1922 in Mount Vernon to Carl Lee and Alma Weatherford. She lived most of her life in the Dallas area where she worked in the family produce business.
She died Sunday, Feb 20. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman A. Harding, her granddaughter, Nicole Harding, and her brothers and sisters, Merle Weatherford Henley, Pleas Weatherford, H. H. “Doc” Weatherford, Mary Weatherford, L. C. Weatherford, and Billy Jack Weatherford.
She is survived by her children, Patricia “Pat” Harding Smylie and Norman A. Harding, Jr., and a daughter-in-law, Sue Harding. She is also survived by a sister, Jewel Weatherford Stubbs, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
