Funeral services for Kathy Carr, age 59 of Mount Vernon, were at 10 a.m. Monday, June 27, 2011 at Harvey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in the Monticello Cemetery with Rev. Craig Stuart officiating.
Mrs. Carr was born June 15, 1952 in Mount Pleasant to Lawton Jones and Wilton Stoval Jones. She was married to Buck Carr.
She died Friday, June 24 in Tyler.
She is survived by her husband, Buck Carr of Mount Vernon; two sons, Daniel Carr of Sugar Hill and Adam Carr of Mount Vernon; a sister, Sharon Fejeran of Mount Pleasant; her father, Lawton Jones of Mount Vernon; and four grandchildren, Mikala, Cassidy, Noah, and Caleb.
Pallbearers were Anthony Fejeran, Kenneth Dewitt, James Dewitt, James Clark, Jim Jones, and Paul Dewitt. Honorary pallbearers were Chyna DeWitt and Eric Clark
