Funeral services for Betty Jean Buntin, age 71 of Houston, were at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at Brookside Funeral Home in Houston.
Miss Buntin  was born in Houston on Nov. 13, 1939. She was a member of Macon Baptist Church for many years.  
She died Sunday, July 3 in Houston. She was preceded in death by her parents, Perry and Rosa Lee Alexander Buntin.
She is survived by her brother, Wiley Buntin and wife, Diann of Cleveland, Tex.; a brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Becky Buntin of Cypress, Tex.; two  sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathy and Robert Hinson of Spring, Tex. and Joyce and Joe Pickens of Mount Vernon; 10 nieces and nephews; and 11 great-nieces and great- nephews.
