Funeral services for Homer “Bug” Doss, Jr., age 52 of Mount Vernon, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 9, 2011 at the Denton Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Mount Vernon City Cemetery.
Mr. Doss was born July 3, 1958 in Mount Vernon to Homer Doss, Sr. and Dorothy Roberston.
He died Friday, July 1 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, James and Larry Doss.
He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Doss of Mount Vernon; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Nora and David Hall of Mount Vernon and Brenda K. Doss of Mount Vernon; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Billy and Carol Doss of Fort Worth and Ronnie Doss of Mount Vernon; a special friend, Richard Barrett of Mount Vernon, and many other relatives and friends.
