A memorial service to celebrate the life of Rose Ann Hooks, age 63 of Seven Points, was at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9 at the Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan with Rev. Tony Brown officiating.
Mrs. Hooks was born June 4, 1948 in Pittsburg, Tex. to Millard Williams and Janet Weeden Williams. She was raised and attended school in Pittsburg. She lived in Mount Vernon before moving to Seven Points in 2007. She worked as a cashier for Brookshire’s in Seven Points for eight years.
She died Sunday, Aug. 6 in Tyler. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Kenneth, on Sept. 1, 2001.
She is survived by her daughters, Robin Asay Fowler of Seven Points and Sherry Asay Jones of Avinger; her sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Wayne and Victoria Asay of Tulsa, Okla., Jason and Ruthie Asay of Keithville, La., and Michael and April Asay of Gun Barrel City; 10 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and several cousins and other relatives.
