Graveside services for Tera Mays Blagg, age 88 of Cleburne, were at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011 in the Buel Cemetery in Keene, Tex. Chaplain Nancy Schneider officiated the event.
Mrs. Blagg was born March 3, 1923 in Saltillo to James and Mayflower Canady Mays. She was a retired restaurant owner and operator. She operated the Chuckwagon Cafe in Cleburne for 10 years and the Cedar Hill Restaurant in Cedar Hill for more than six years. She was of the Baptist faith.
She died Tuesday, Oct. 4, in Cleburne. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands,William O. Martin and Woodrow M. Blagg; three sisters; one brother and one great grandchild.
She is survived by her daughters and a son-in-law, Charlotte Glaves and Debbie and Rob Fraser, all of Cleburne; three sisters, Christine Kerr of Dallas, Modine Stretcher of Mount Vernon and Jimmye and J. B. Garner of Saltillo; three brothers, James Mays of Mount Vernon, John Mays of Saltillo and Gerald and Ann Mays of Mount Vernon; three grandchildren, one great-grandson, and several other relatives and friends.
