Graveside services for Mike Sowle of Mount Pleasant were at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011 at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Mount Pleasant with Bro. Stan Foy officiating.
Mr. Sowle was born Sept. 20, 1957 in Pheonix, Ariz. He worked as a jailer at the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department.
He died Wednesday, Oct. 12 at Baylor Hospital in Dallas. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Doris Sowle.  
He is survived by his wife, Texann Sowle of Mount Pleasant; two sons, Michael Long and Jason Pence; two daughters and a son-in-law,  Megan Long and Misty and Lee Ward; and a brother and sister-in-law, Kevin and Marisa Gowan.
