Funeral services for L. C. Coe, age 94 of Mount Vernon, were at 2 p.m. Friday, April 20, 2012 at Harvey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery with Richard Rutledge and Tommy Mullins officiating.
Mr. Coe was born Oct. 20, 1917 in Titus County to Jesse A. Coe and Mahaska Anderson Coe. He was married to Valerie Duty Coe.
He died Wednesday, April 18 in Mount Vernon.
He is survived by two children, Charles Coe of San Antonio and Linda Majors of Mount Pleasant; a sister, Geraldine Holifield of Plano; four grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
