Funeral services for Dr. Donavan M. Webb, age 76 of Scroggins, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 19, 2012 at the Sam Harvey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Campbell officiating.
Burial will follow at the Providence Cemetery with his grandsons serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
He was born April 4, 1936 in Houston, Tex., the son of Ralph and Lucy Davis Webb. He married Elizabeth Anne Atkinson on June 1, 1979 in Irving and she survives.
Dr. Webb was a Chiropractor for over 46 years, having practiced in El Paso, Irving and part time in Mount Vernon. He earned his degree from Texas Chiropractic College. He served on the board of Chiropractic Examiners, he was in the U. S. Army, and was a member of the AF&AM Alamo Lodge in San Antonio. He was a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Mount Vernon.
Dr. Webb is survived by his wife, Anne Webb of Scroggins; his children, Pricilla Sikos and Mark of Kyle, Dr. Natalie Holley and Jerry of Mesquite, Jimmy Potts of Zephyr, Mary Charton of Bryant, Ark., and Billy Anderson and Sherri of Mount Vernon.
He is also survived by his twelve grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; his brothers, Vernon Webb and Janice of Brenham, Roland Webb and Delores of Bedias; and his sister, Brenda Sikes of Highlands, Tex.
