Funeral services for William “Lee” Leroy Love, age 76 of Mount Pleasant, were at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24, 2012 at Trinity Baptist Church in Mount Pleasant. Burial was in the Macon Cemetery with Rev. Mike Kessler officiating.
Mr. Love was born July 14, 1936 in Pocassett, Okla., to Homer Lloyd Love and Mary Reisman Love. He was a deacon at Trinity Baptist Church. He served as a part of the Texas Baptist Men Disaster Relief team, served with the Titus County Cares Backpack Program, the After School Kids Program, and was music leader at Macon Baptist Church.
He died Wednesday, Aug. 22 at East Texas Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Home Love, and two sisters, Juanita and Oleta.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Love of Mount Pleasant; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael and Cheryl Robbins Love of Los Colinas and David Love of Norman, Okla.; a daughter and son-in-law, Lisa Love and Shaun Harris of College Station; two grandchildren, and a brother and sister-in-law, Lloyd J. and Laverne Love of Oklahoma City, Okla.
Pallbearers were Michael Love, Will Harris, David Love, Keith Jordan, Shaun Harris, and Fred Barker. Honorary Pallbearers were Bernis Jordan, Johnny Mac Owens, Lloyd J. Love, Keith Jordan, Terry Grigsby, and Eric Lynch.
