Graveside services for Charlene Adams, age 88 of Mount Vernon, were at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012 at Liberty Cemetery with Rev. Jack Wallace officiating.
Mrs. Adams was born April 20, 1924 in Mount Vernon to Charlie O. France and Ruby Dell Skidmore. Her first husband was Robert Countryman. Her second husband was Joe Adams.
She died Thursday, Nov. 22 in Mount Pleasant. She was preceded in death by her husbands and a son, Max Countryman.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Jackie and Charles Stanley of Mount Pleasant.
