Funeral services for Walton Ottinger, age 89 of Hagansport, were at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, 2012 at Mount Olive Baptist Church. Burial was in the Hagansport Cemetery with Rev. Randy Sinclair and Rev. Jimmy Rogers officiating.

Mr. Ottinger was born March 1, 1923 in Hagansport to Walter Ottinger and Fannie Henry. He was married to Ruth Elliott Ottinger.
He died Saturday, Dec. 1 in Paris.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Ottinger of Hagansport; a son, Jerry Ottinger of Paris; five grandchildren, and a sister, Bernice Markovic of Mount Vernon.

Pallbearers were Bobby Burns, Jody Stanley, Billy Pennington, Sandy Cash, Jack Bourn, and Mark Hare. Honorary pallbearers were Billy Joe Payne, R. Q. Tower, Gerald Stanley, and Steve Cooper.
