Funeral services for Chad Eric Ragsdale, age 36 of Winfield, were at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012 at Bates-Cooper-Slaon Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant. Burial was in the Winfield Cemetery with Bro. Dominick Crescimanno and Jerry Thomas officiating.
Mr. Ragsdale was born Jan. 8, 1976 in Longview. He worked in the maintenance department at Pilgrim’s Pride.
He died Sunday, Dec. 9 at Titus Regional Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his his grandparents, J. B. and Juanita Thomas and Kenneth and Maudie Mars, and his mother-in-law, Minnie Porter.
He is survived by his wife, Carla Marie Ragsdale of Winfield; his parents, Jessie Ragsdale and Jan Ragsdale of Winfield; two sons, Doug Eanes and Curtis Roberts, both of Winfield; a daughter, Tiona Roberts of Winfield; one grandchild; a brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Patricia Ragsdale of Mount Vernon; a nephew, Derek Hendrix of Mount Vernon; and two nieces, Kendra and Juliegh Ragsdale of Mount Vernon.
Pallbearers were Clint Collins, Jesse Deal, Chris Vaught, and Matt Hargrove.
