Memorial services for Minnie Pearl Smith, age 89 of Mount Vernon, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013 at the Trinity Cemetery in Jefferson with Bro. Claude Crocker officiating.
Mrs. Smith was born Oct. 24, 1923 in Carthage to Lonz McDaniel and Gertrude Wilson.
She died Thursday, Jan. 10 at the East Texas Medical Center in Mount Vernon. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Lonny Roy, two sisters, Mary Woods and Bonnie Nelson, and three brothers, J. T. McDaniel, Billy McDaniel, and Leroy McDaniel.
She is survived by a host of nieces and nephews and her Grace Baptist Church family.
