MVISD graduates get scholarships

Santa returns to Old Depot Saturday

Santa Claus will make a return trip to the Old Railroad Depot on Kaufman St. this Saturday, December 13 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The third annual Tour of Trees will be also available for viewing and voting.

Blood drive

A total of 15 units of blood were collected from the 19 volunteers who stopped by the Carter Blood Care’s bus at the church of Christ on Saturday, November 1.

Food drive

The Mighty Tiger Marching Band plays the school song at the beginning of the football game The Mighty Tiger Marching Band plays the school song at the beginning of the football game against Pittsburg as the Flag Corp shows their spirit. The band has approximately 70 members this year.

Blood drive successful

The Carter BloodCare collection of donated blood and blood products last Saturday, September 27 was termed a success with twenty-one units collected.
