Jamie DoanJamie Doan of Savoy recently graduated Cum Laude from LeTourneau University with a master of arts in counseling degree. She is the daughter of Pam and David Williams and Butch and Kathy Raley of Mount Vernon.

Sewer work

Crews with Kampco, Inc. did a trench along Major St. to install sewer lines.Crews with Kampco, Inc. did a trench along Major St. to install sewer lines. Work on the $1.6 million project recently began on the east side of Mount Vernon. The project will replace 22,500 feet of primary water water collection lines.

MOM meeting Thursday

The MOM (Ministering Our Military) support group will have its monthly meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday, January 21. The meeting will be at Pilgrim Bank, 2401 S. Jefferson St. in Mount Pleasant.
