Funeral services for Noble Dunlap, Sr., age 83 of Mount Vernon, were at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013 at the Bookman Temple Church of God in Christ with Ministers L. B. Fountain and Don Monroe officiating.
Mr. Dunlap was born Feb. 28, 1929 in Franklin County to Perry Dunlap and Allie Mae Dunlap Fountain.
He died Wednesday, Jan. 23. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Nellie Mae Kelly, his brothers, Herman Dunlap and F. L. Dunlap, and two brothers-in-law, A. J. Bell and Milton Fountain.
He is survived by a former wife, Ozella Ellis; a son, Noble Dunlap, Jr.; his sisters, Helen Bell, Billie Ruth Fountain, Katie Mae Fountain of Mount Vernon, Rosetta and Andrew Deloney, Vessie Mae and Carl Thomas of Sulphur Springs; his brothers, Marvin Dunlap, L. G. and Bertha Fountain all of Mount Vernon, and T. C and Diana Lynn  Fountain of Dallas.
Pallbearers were Billy Fountain, Craig Fountain, Elmer Dunlap, Wayne Fountain, Cedric Sims, and Trent Fountain.
