N.E.T. Opportunities, Inc. is now accepting proposals to perform our agency annual audit for the Fiscal Year ending September 30, 2009.  Proposing entities must be able to perform audits as listed under the requirements for OMB Circular A-133, and be familiar with Government Auditing Standards issued by the Comptroller General of the United States under the Single Audit Act of 1984.

N.E.T.O. is a 501 © (3) private, non-profit Community Action Agency funded with federal, state, and local funds.  We administer Head Start, Community Services Block Grant, Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program, Aging and Disabilities Services, and Rural Public/Aging Transportation Programs.  Audit proposals must be submitted to the administrative office at P.O. Box 478, Mount Vernon, Texas  75457 to the attention of Beverly Logan, Executive Director.  Proposals must include a state of qualifications; list of past clients; qualifications of all auditors who will be or may be assigned to this audit, if awarded.  Proposals are due by October 15, 2009.

NETO reserves the right to reject any or all proposals; to waive any informality in the proposal, and to reward as may be advantageous to this agency.
