The city of Mount Vernon Fire Department is accepting bids on the following items:
1992 Ford F-250 Ext. Cab with utility bed (93,253 miles) V-8 engine
1979 GMC 6000 V-8 Tanker truck-pto-4speed manual transmission 71,717 miles and holds 1,500 gallons of water
300 Kawasaki Bayou 4x4 Four Wheeler
Equipment can be seen at the Mount Vernon Fire Station located at 330 SH. Hwy. 37 during normal business hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. All bids must be clearly marked “Sealed Bid” and returned to the Fire Chief Jeremy Cox at the Mount Vernon Fire Station prior to Feb. 26, 2010 at 5 p.m. The sealed bids will be publicly opened at the fire meeting on March 1, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. You can see the items on the city website at www.comvtx.com
