THE TITUS COUNTY FRESH WATER SUPPLY DISTRICT NO. 1, ADOPTED ITS AMENDED OFFICIAL MANUAL OF POLICIES, RULES, AND REGULATIONS,
INCLUDING ITS RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF PIERS, BOATHOUSES, ETC.; PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF ANY CONFLICTING ORDER OR REGULATIONS PASSED BY THE TITUS COUNTY FRESH WATER SUPPLY DISTRICT; PROVIDING FOR A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION..
The Board of Directors of the Titus County Fresh Water Supply District No. 1, at their regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, October 22, 2010, adopted its amended Official Manual of Policies, Rules and Regulations, including its rules and regulations governing the construction of structures on Lake Bob Sandlin.
The adopted rules require the issuance of a construction permit prior to construction and specifically describe the criteria used to determine whether the structure is in compliance with all Titus County Fresh Water Supply District No. 1 regulations. The amended regulations refer to specific area and height limitations as well as specific plumbing, electrical and safety regulations.
The adopted rules also include regulations for dredging on Titus County Fresh Water Supply District No. 1 property.
The adopted rules make the failure to comply with any of the amended regulations subject to penalties in accordance with federal, state or local laws, depending on the violation. Unpermitted structures, structures not built in compliance with the rules and regulations of the Titus County Fresh Water Supply District No. 1
or failure to pay applicable permit fees shall be cause for the District to require removal of the structures as a penalty for such violation.
