Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Texas Local Government Code Session 43.063, that the Mount Vernon City Council will hold public hearings at the City Council Chamber, City Hall, 109 North Kaufman Street, Mount Vernon, Texas, Tuesday, February 22, 2010 at 5:30 p.m. and Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. to consider the following:

Annexation Tract 1
Tract 1 consists of 2 parcels opposite each on both sides of English Street. The West side parcel is situated in the J Talbott Survey, Abstract 493. The address is 501 English Street, Mount Vernon, Texas 74457 The East side parcel is situated in the E. T. Williams Survey, Abstract 533, Lt1 and Lt2 Howison Addition. The physical address is 502 English Street, Mount Vernon, Texas 75457.
The annexation includes the right-of-way adjacent to 501 English Street. Beginning at a point in the West right-of-way line of English Street. Said point being the Northwest corner of the City Limits.

Commencing from the East right-of-way line of N. Kaufman Street, said point being in the North City Limit line. Thence leaving East row line in an easterly direction along the current City Limit line.
