The City Council of the City of Mount Vernon will conduct a public hearing at 6:30 p.m., May 10, 2011 in the council chambers of City Hall, 109 N. Kaufman Street, Mount Vernon, Texas. The purpose of this hearing is to hear evidence for or against a request made by Robbie Turner to re-zone the property located at 401 E. I-30 from manufactured housing (MH) to local retail (LR).
