MOUNT VERNON ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION
NOTICE OF EXECUTIVE SESSION AND PUBLIC HEARING
JUNE 13, 2011
The Mount Vernon Economic Development Corporation will meet to conduct an executive session and a subsequent public hearing on Monday evening, June 13, 2011, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall at 109 N. Kaufman Street, Mount Vernon, Texas.
The purpose of the meeting(s) will be as follows:
OPEN EXECUTIVE SESSION:
1. Section 551.087 Texas Government Code; Deliberation or discussion regarding commercial or financial information that the governmental body has received from a business prospect that the governmental body seeks to have locate, stay, or expand in or near the territory of the governmental body and with which the governmental body is conducting economic development negotiations; or
2. to deliberate the offer of a financial or other incentive to a business prospect described by subdivision (1): a) Richard Hamrick and b)Robert Rosales & Darrell Beard

OPEN REGULAR SESSION; ADJOURN REGULAR SESSION
OPEN PUBLIC HEARING:
1-Hear evidence for or against providing a $15,000 business incentive to Richard Hamrick for the renovation of a portion of vacant Dollar General Store
2-Hear evidence for or against providing a $15,000 business incentive to Robert Rosales and Darrell Beard for the purpose of renovation of business building at 1319 Holbrook / on Spur 423
CLOSE PUBLIC HEARING
OPEN REGULAR SESSION:
1-Action item: consider approval of providing a $15,000 business incentive to Richard Hamrick for the renovation of a portion of vacant Dollar General Store.
2-Action item: consider approval of providing a $15,000 business incentive to Robert Rosales and Darrell Beard for the purpose of renovation of business building on Spur 423.
