The City Council Of Mount Vernon, Texas will conduct a public hearing at 6:30 P.M., November 8, 2011, In the council chambers of City Hall, 109 N. Kaufman Street, Mount Vernon, Texas.
The purpose of this hearing is to hear evidence for or against Ordinance 2011-33 to tax tangible personal property in transit which would otherwise be exempt pursuant to Texas Tax Code , Section 11.253
