MOUNT VERNON ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION PUBLIC HEARING AND SPECIAL CALLED MEETING
DECEMBER 1, 2011 The Mount Vernon Economic Development Corporation will meet for a public hearing and a special called meeting on Thursday evening, December 1, 2011 at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall at 109 N. Kaufman, Mt. Vernon, TX.

Members of the Mount Vernon City Council and Mount Vernon Main Street Alliance may also be in attendance at the meeting.

The purpose of the meeting is as follows:

II    OPEN PUBLIC HEARING
A. Hear evidence for or against funding an amount up to $35,000 for a Main Street Manager position

III  CLOSE PUBLIC HEARING

IV  OPEN REGULAR SESSION / ACTION ITEMS:
A. Consider funding an amount up to $35,000 for a Main Street Manager position
B. Consider funding an amount up to $5000 to assist a Small Business     Development Center location in Mount Vernon
