Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

Mount Vernon Independent School District has determined that it is advisable to seek proposals for the possible lease of mineral interest in land belonging to Mount Vernon I.S.D. Land to be leased may include approximately 80.84 acres or 48.2415 net mineral acres out of the Gabriel Keith Survey, A-261,  etc., in Franklin County, Texas.  
Interested parties are invited to submit sealed proposals to Mr. John Kaufman, Superintendent of Mount Vernon I.S.D, Administration Office, 501 Hwy 37 South, P.O. Box 98, Mount Vernon, Texas 75457, until 4:00 p.m. on Friday , December 9, 2011.  For information regarding specifications, contact the MVISD Administration Office at (903)-537-2546 to obtain a bid packet.  Proposals will be considered in an open hearing during the MVISD Board of Trustees regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. on December 12, 2011 to be held at the MVISD Administration Office at the address above.
