Franklin County has determined that it is advisable to seek bids for the possible lease of mineral interest in land belonging to Franklin County. Land to be leased may include the following properties:

1) approximately 6 acres out of the G. Keith Survey, A-261, etc., in Franklin County, Texas; and

2) approximately 0.331 acres of land, more or less, out of the Stephen Keith Survey, A-268, Franklin County, Texas.

Interested parties are invited to submit sealed bids to County Judge Paul Lovier by mail at 200 N. Kaufman St. or in person at the Franklin County Annex East located 502 E. Main in Mount Vernon, Texas 75457, until 5:00 p.m. on Friday , April 13, 2012. For information regarding specifications, contact the Franklin County Judge’s Office at (903) 537-2342 to obtain a bid packet. Proposals will be considered in an open hearing during the Franklin County Commissioner’s Court regular meeting at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, April 23, 2012 to be held at the Franklin County Courthouse Annex located at 208 Hwy 37 in Mt.
