Public Notice - Customer Notice - Peoples Telephone Cooperative, Inc - 5/24/12

Peoples Telephone Cooperative, Inc. (Peoples or the Cooperative) has filed a notice with the Public Utility Commission of Texas (Commission) requesting to bundle the monthly Local Exchange Access Line 1-Party Rate with Tone Dialing Service for all customers.

 

Customers not currently subscribing to the Tone Dialing Service will be charged the new monthly Access Line Rate effective June 1, 2012. The Company is also proposing to increase residential Local Exchange Access Line rates in the Ben Franklin, Pecan Gap, Roxton, Talco, Campbell, Cypress Springs, Dry Creek, Glade Branch, Golden, Jim Hogg, Sandy Creek, Wynne and Yantis as shown below.

The rate changes for the affected access lines will be effective on June 1, 2012. The estimated annual revenue increase recognized by the Cooperative is $114,885.96 for the first year of service, which is 2.19% of the Cooperative’s gross annual intrastate revenues.

A complete copy of the tariff pages and rates for the services listed will be available for inspection at the address listed above 10 days prior to the effective date of June 1, 2012. Persons who wish to formally participate in the Commission's proceedings concerning this notice, or who wish to express their comments concerning this notice should contact the Public Utility Commission of Texas, Office of Customer Protection, P.O.
