The Mount Vernon Committee for Economic Growth will submit an application to Tina Rose, City Secretary of the City of Mount Vernon, Franklin County Texas in compliance with Section 501.023 of the Texas Election Code, in order to circulate petitions to the qualified voters of  the City of Mount Vernon, Franklin County Texas, so that local option elections can be ordered on the following issues: For/Against “The legal sale of beer and wine for off-premise consumption only” and a second petition on the following issue:  For/Against “The legal sale of mixed beverages in restaurants by food and beverage certificate holders only”.  This public notice was paid for by Mount Vernon Committee for Economic Growth.
