Power walk/run planned for Backroad Angel Scholarships

The Backroad Angel, a private nonprofit organization, is sponsoring a power walk or run event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 6 at Don Meredith Stadium to raise funds for scholarships for graduating students from area high schools.

Kids age 12 and under can ride free in the Tour de Cypress Bike Ride slated for Saturday, April 15.
