Seventh grade fourth at Mount Pleasant tourney

The seventh grade Lady Tiger volleyball team won fourth place in the Mount Pleasant tournament on Saturday, September 19. The defeated Chapel Hill 2-1 with scores of 23-25, 25-22, and 15-12.

JV Tigers shut out the Rebels

There were lots of stars for the JV Tigers in their 52-0 win over the Ore City Rebels on Thursday, September 15. Anytime a shutout occurs you know the defense played lights out.

The Mount Vernon Lady Tiger volleyball teams competed at Harts Bluff on Thursday, September 8. The 7B team won 25-14 and 25-12.

Franklin County High School Bass Fishing TeamThe Franklin County Bass Fishing Team hit the water earlier this month and won first place at the Lake Bob Sandlin tournament. More than 200 teams participated.
