Haley pitches shutout

The Mount Vernon purple Tigers baseball team blanked the Linden Kildare blue Tigers 4-0 on Tuesday, March 17. Hunter Haley pitched all seven innings of the shutout.

Saltillo fifth at relays

The Saltillo boys track team competed at the Mo Parker Relays at Hooks High School on Thursday, March 19 and finished fifth out of 10 teams.

Ed Jaime named All District Defensive MVP

Ed JaimeEd Jaime, a senior at Saltillo High School, was named the Defensive Most Valuable Player for the 24-1A All-District basketball team. Lane Bench, a junior, was named the Newcomer of the Year.

Academic All-District announced

Members of the Academic All-District boys basketball team were announced recently. To make the academic all-district team a student must maintain a 90 average throughout the season.

Tigers go 1-1 in non-district games
