Lions drop heartbreaker to Sulphur Bluff

The Saltillo Lions Junior High Baseball team dropped a heartbreaker to Sulphur Bluff 9-8 in the opening game of district play for both teams.

Lions run at Miller Grove meet

The Saltillo cross country teams competed at the Miller Grove meet on Thursday, September 17. Both varsity squads placed second overall at the meet.

Lions begin cross country season

The Saltillo varsity boys cross country team competed at the North Hopkins  “Tim Menke” meet on Thursday, September 10. They finished in third place with a total of 94 points.

On Thursday, September 17, the varsity girls cross country squad placed fourth out of 10 teams at the Miller Grove meeting, and the week prior finished fourth out of 15 teams at the North Hopkins meet.
