Lady Tigers beat Lady Rebels of Rivercrest

The Lady Tigers are now 22-5 overall for the season and 2-2 in District play.

Tigers sting Hooks Hornets 27-24

Winnsboro Red Raiders raid Purple Tigers 15-14

The Mount Vernon Tigers lost to the Winnsboro Red Raiders 15-14 in a clash of neighboring rivals on Friday, September 20. “I was proud of how our kids never stopped fighting and how they handled the wet conditions of the field and the ball,” Head Coach Mike Alexander said.

Mount Vernon opens district play at Hooks

The Mount Vernon Tigers will travel to Hooks to face the Hornets on Friday, September 27 for the first district football game of 2013. “Everybody is starting over this week,” Head coach Mike Alexander said.
