Saltillo ladies defeat North Hopkins

The Saltillo Lady Lions softball team defeated North Hopkins 19-9 on Friday, March 27. The ladies fell to Sulphur Bluff 1-7, and the Lions baseball team lost to Miller Grove 2-10.

Saltillo beats Fruitvale

The Saltillo Lions baseball team beat Fruitvale 12-11 on Friday, March 27. Cade Daniel scored four runs for the Lions and Dakota Carroll crossed the plate twice.

Sweeden places in singles

The Mount Vernon High School tennis team competed at the Prairiland Invitational tournament last week. Marshall Sweeden won consolation in the men’s singles division.
