Practices for the Mount Vernon Tiger football team began this week, but not in the traditional two-a- day fashion. For the first four days of training, University Interscholastic League officials have banned traditional two-a-day practices. Players are only supposed to practice for three hours during the initial week. More than 80 students reported for football practice on Monday, Aug. 6.
