Mt. Vernon City Cemetery, Second Edition

A genealogist's research treasure! Approximately 540 pages of updated information. It has a color cover of the Main Street Entrance. It includes an alphabetized listing of 3,989 names, sorted by map, section, and row, and a listing of 330 known veterans.

Mount Vernon, Texas, Graduating Classes 1902-1960

This three-year research project is compiled by Phyllis Brown. Student lists include complete student names by year, parents' names including mothers' maiden names, class officers, birth dates and places of birth, plus other trivia. Lists of high school and junior high valedictorians and salutatorians through 2009 are included, plus lists of faculty from 1898 to 1960. An index of teachers and students is also available.
