FCHA's Cereal History Program

Professor Paul Benson will present a “nutty” narrative about how breakfast food came into existence as the program for the bi-monthly meeting of the Franklin County Historical Association Monday evening, Sept. 4.
The evening will begin at 7 p.m. with a covered dish dinner at the Masonic Lodge, 219 I-30, South Access Rd., east of Hwy. 37. The program will begin about 7:30 p.m.
Hosts for the membership meeting are B.F. Hicks, Kristin Bogart, Beverly McPherson, Jean Ann Marshall and  Gail Reed. Paper goods, utensils,  bread, ice, water and tea are provided. Those interested are invited to bring a favorite dish to share and join in the evening’s activities.
